High-pressure testing up to 3,000 PSI, ultrasonic combustion tip decoking, and flow-matched GDI injectors for modern direct-injected engines.
Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) introduces fuel directly into the combustion chamber rather than the intake port. Fuel is delivered under extreme hydraulic pressures between 450 and 3,000 PSI (30 to 200+ Bar), creating an ultra-fine fuel droplet atomization of approximately ±65 microns compared to ±165 microns on conventional port injectors.
Because direct injector tips are directly exposed to the violent heat and soot of cylinder combustion, heavy carbon deposits accumulate across the micro-orifices. This distorts the conical spray plume, creating cold-start misfires, soot build-up on intake valves, and catalytic degradation.
